AmazingBrainz® Home provides easy-to-follow daily activities specially designed for toddlers aged 18-24 months.
At this stage, children are becoming increasingly independent, curious and eager to explore the world around them. Grounded in current research on brain development and inspired by Howard Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences, this programme recognises that children learn and express themselves in different ways.
Through play, movement, music, stories and hands-on experiences, your child will develop important skills while building confidence, creativity and a love of learning.
Activities can be completed at home using simple household items and educational toys. Many of these toys can be used across multiple age groups, making them a valuable investment in your child’s development.
A Multiple Intelligences Learning Journey
The AmazingBrainz® Home 18-24 Months programme is inspired by Howard Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences and focuses on developing different strengths within each child.
Activities are grouped into five exciting learning areas:
• WordSmart – developing language, communication, vocabulary and early literacy skills
• BodySmart – encouraging movement and developing gross and fine motor skills, coordination, balance and physical confidence
• NumberSmart – introducing early mathematical concepts such as counting, sorting, problem-solving, reasoning and experimentation
• PictureSmart – stimulating creativity, visual thinking and spatial awareness through art, exploration and visual-motor development
• MusicSmart – fostering rhythm, listening skills, musical expression and joyful learning
By exploring all five learning areas, children are encouraged to discover their unique strengths while developing a broad foundation for future learning.
To make learning fun and meaningful, activities are organised into engaging themes, with each theme explored over a two-week period.
Themes create opportunities for children to revisit ideas in different ways, helping them make connections, deepen their understanding and remain engaged throughout the programme.
While you are free to do any activity whenever it suits you and your child, we have carefully organised the programme over the six-month period to make things easy for busy parents and caregivers.
• You will receive two to three short activities each day.
• Each week explores all five Smarts, with one Smart focus per day, allowing your child to develop a broad range of skills throughout the week.
• Activities are presented within fun, age-appropriate themes that keep learning exciting and engaging.
• No planning is required — we’ve done the thinking for you.
• Developmental milestones are carefully monitored and supported throughout the programme.
Activities are spread across the six-month programme, with key learning experiences repeated over time to reinforce learning and development.
Toddlers learn best through repetition and repeated opportunities to practise new skills.
Repeating activities helps your child to:
• Strengthen neural connections in the brain
• Build confidence and familiarity
• Master new skills at their own pace
• Deepen learning through enjoyable, repeated experiences
• Transfer skills and knowledge to new situations
By revisiting favourite activities, your child is not simply repeating the same experience — they are building stronger foundations for future learning, creativity and problem-solving.
