Dr Etienne van der Walt
Consulting Neurologist
Dr Etienne van der Walt’s specialist training as a neurologist, combined with years of experience in rural community health and extensive study in early brain development, forms the scientific foundation of AmazingBrainz® Home. He developed the original neurobiological model that underpins all AmazingBrainz® Home programmes.
Susara Nortje
Product Development Director
Susara is a trained teacher with more than 35 years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams and service provider networks. She has served as CEO of AmazingBrainz® since 2012 and has deep insight into the programmes and how to make neuroscience practical and accessible for families.
Sari Stegmann
Chief Operating Officer
Sari is the primary contact for AmazingBrainz® Home and oversees brand development and product launch strategy for the new for-profit venture. She holds degrees in Sports Management and Sports Science from the University of Tennessee and Stellenbosch University, as well as a Postgraduate Certificate in Education and an honours degree in remedial therapy. Sari has been part of AmazingBrainz® since 2015.

Legal Director
Pieter previously served as Group Legal Advisor for several companies before establishing his own legal consultancy in 2014, where he provides advisory services to commercial businesses.

Business Development Director
Johannes has more than 30 years of experience in the agricultural sector. He is passionate about developing individuals and communities through sustainable business and works as an agribusiness consultant specialising in business development, financial analysis and forecasting.
Pieter Carstens
Operational & Customer Service Consultant
Pieter provides consulting support to AmazingBrainz across customer service
delivery, operational support, and systems. He has a background in Operational
Management, HR and B-BBEE Consulting, with a strong focus on customer service and
operational ePiciency. Pieter has been part of the AmazingBrainz since 2024.
